As a former arts professional and current climbing, canyoning and back country ski guide, Sammy captures artistic visual content from places that are simply inaccessible to other videographers.
Thin Air Productions is the first and only videography and production business in the Blue Mountains providing fully certified drone services.
We provide drone services for outdoor adventure productions, business, real estate and events. Our stunning aerial footage is filmed in 5K and is professionally edited and delivered to you ready for publication.
Thin Air Productions is fully licenced and registered with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and is certified to conduct commercial Unmanned Aerial Vehicle operations within Australia and overseas.

Safety is of utmost importance to us at Thin Air Productions. All of our productions and aerial operations are conducted with strict adherence to CASA regulations. Job Safety Assessments are conducted prior to each flight, as are comprehensive risk assessments
where required.

Air Time
This is the fun part! Once we’ve confirmed a day where the weather’s good and we’ve got all the clearances that we require to fly, then it’s time to put the drone in the air and capture all the raw aerial footage and other content needed for your production.
Receive a Quote
After our initial consultation via phone or email, we’ll put together a comprehensive quote to meet your requirements.
PROFESSIONAL EDITING
After we complete filming your job, it’s time to hit the editing room. This is where we’ll professionally edit your images and stitch together your video footage.
Make a Booking
Once you’ve approved our quote, we’ll chat with you to make a booking for your drone job or production. Things we need to keep in mind include the weather, location and time of day, all of which influence the final product.
DELIVERY
Once we’ve completed editing, we’ll send you the final product in various formats via one of our cloud-based portals. Mission complete!
